Grab some popcorn!
They say that a picture paints a thousand words, but it’s hard to do our little school justice with pictures and words alone! That’s why we made this short film to give you all an insight into school life!
So get some snacks, sit back and enjoy!
Take a look inside...
Our Classroom
We have a large indoor classroom equipped with a variety of materials and equipment. The room is set up into different play areas including:
- The Construction Area
- Home Corner
- Art Area
- Small World Play
- Calming Corner
…to name a few.
The room is set up to allow the children to choose what area interests them and make independent decisions.
It's all about...
Learning Through Play
The aims and objectives of the pre-school are to provide a safe, happy and nurturing environment for pre-school aged children, using play as a means of progressing through the six areas of learning denoted in the curriculum.
The six areas are as follows:
- Personal, Social and Emotional development
- Language Development
- Physical Development
- Mathematical Development
- The Arts
- The World Around Us
Come rain or shine we love...
Outdoor play
We have recently revamped our outdoor play area and we love it! We have lots of new climbing and gross motor skills equipment including a runway tunnel, discovery woodland treehouse, and mud kitchen to name a few!
It’s such a pleasure to see the children having so much fun using it all!
